Sven Maybe more knowledgeable people on this forum will correct me, but the average temp for the Alfas 156 2.5 v6 is 90. Alfas does not have a pre-established average range of temp conditions as other brands, which they keep the temp gauge indicator stable, even the actual engine temperature is fluctuating (within pre-established parameters). Ohhhyeah, and the 3.8l v6 engine will also drop into a 2.5l car: (mine - 3.76l v6) I've also had a 3.45 litre and a 3.6 litre engine in my 2.5 v6 in the last 12 months. Take a standard 2.5 litre block. Machine it to take the huge liners. 102.4m bore. Volvo truck liners. JE forged pistons. Iwill be replacing the gearbox and offside engine mounts on my 156 (2.5 V6) within the next couple of weeks, has anyone got any tips or pointers on doing this?
