Character creation: reroll your stats until you get at least +20 stat points (all mine had +30) pick races that are compatible. this will help you level up faster and get morale faster so you can do more special group attacks (check the manual for race compatibility, I believe) It seems like you have a decent mix of classes. Cant decide on a class to play. I mostly want to do open world stuff and WvW (some sPVP aswell). Afraid that ranger feels too basic and simple and afraid that warlock turns out boring after a while or to not understand boons/conditions properly ( i have only lvl 10 of each).

Mesmer. Probably the most unique class in the game. Pretty hard to pick up and considered the worst class to level.
